We had a whirl-wind of a Christmas trip. What started out as going to see the family & maybe doing a little sightseeing ended up being mostly (rental) house hunting scattered in with visiting family. However, the time we actually did get to spend with family was FABULOUS! It was quite a bit different for Katheryn this time because she was actually more mobile & definitely more aware of everybody. She had a great time chasing her cousins, Trevor & MJ, around. She also enjoyed meeting her great-great-aunt & uncle (I think it's great-great) Joe & Anne. (Hi Anne!!) And of course got to spend time with her great grandmother as well as her Aunt Erin & Uncle Mosby.

One of the highlights of the trip is that now SHE'S WALKING!! On the last full day we were there grandma & grandpa Parisi, Pete & I (along with Katheryn, of course) were all sitting down relaxing in the family room (really the ONLY time all five of us were in the same room at the same time for more than five minutes during this trip). We were watching her cruise around the coffee table when all of a sudden she let go and took five good confident steps towards me. I grabbed her & hugged her and immediately started crying!!! I thought for sure she was a good month away, but of course, she surprised me again!! Such a big moment for all of us!

Oh, and she did great on both plane flights, even the 9 PM one. She ended up sleeping the majority of the time. What a champ she was!!
