Ahh! How times flies! Just four months ago we were bringing home a 6 pound scrawny baby. Now, she's not so scrawny and she has the fat rolls to prove it. At her 4 month appointment yesterday she weighed 15 pounds (90th percentile!).
Significant changes I've noticed over the last month:
- she's getting much better head control. We don't have to be as careful when picking her up or laying her down
- she'll tolerate tummy time a "little" longer. Still not crazy about it though.
- she's noticing the environment alot more when we're out & about
- she's laughing and "talking" more
- our night time routine has gone from 2 hours to about 40 minutes (whoo hoo!!)
- she naps in her crib instead of on us... most of the time ;)
- she can sit on our laps contently for an extended period of time instead of always having to be walked around (Yea, again!)
- when we're in the car she no longer screams when we've stopped at a stop light or stop sign.... unless she's REALLY tired.
- and when we're playing with her she prefers to sit up or stand up, with our help, instead of always laying down.
My little baby is already growing up so fast!!
(Oh, & it's hard to get a good picture of a squirming baby)
